I have drawn for as long as I can remember. The first amount of money I ever earned was from selling artworks at Sydney’s famous Bondi Beach markets back in 2001 when I was 17. Fresh out of high school with no job, no qualifications and no money I painted a batch of canvases and sat at the markets week after week. I still remember the feeling I felt when I sold my largest canvas on my first day.

In 2005 I graduated from the University of NSW, College of Fine Arts with a Bachelor's degree in Design majoring in Textile and Graphic Design. Since then I have pursued a design career combining my artistic ability with graphic skills. My unique approach to art and design has led me to work with iconic Australian companies such as Adairs, Kollab, Greenhouse Interiors, Nakula, Ravesi's, Mambo, Tigerlily & Westpac.

In 2018, after 13 years of working in graphic & textile design, I was made redundant from my job. I was beyond devastated. My husband had just undergone major open heart surgery to replace his aorta two months prior and was still recovering. We were at such a low place mentally, emotionally and financially and ultimately I felt as though I had let my family down at a time when they really needed me to step up. I felt so incredibly helpless. The thought of failing my family made me hit rock bottom and I was really down for months on end. Then something switched, and that sadness turned to determination. With all of the knowledge and experience behind me to start a small business, I came up with a business plan and decided I would really give selling my art a go.

In May 2019 I launched my business - it was the scariest thing I’ve ever done.

Fast forward a couple of years later… I have worked with some pretty incredible people so far, I am doing what I love and literally pinching myself everyday for the opportunities that have presented themselves.

All of my artworks are inspired by nature and are hand drawn with copic markers. I would describe them as colourful, full of rich tones and intricate patterns. Illustrations are Giclee printed on 100% textured cotton rag, 310gsm museum grade fine art paper (OBA - FREE with no optical brighteners). They are printed in Australia using the highest quality materials and are made to order to prevent waste.
