Earthy hues
Earthy hues
Who is guilty of spending hours on Pinterest scrolling through beautiful ‘pin worthy’ interiors? I must admit, I am an addict. I also get extremely excited when I see heavenly spaces featuring my artwork - it makes my day!

At the moment, like many others I am sure, I am drawn to rooms that radiate warm tones similar to those found at a Marrakech spice market - think rich turmeric, cinnamon, paprika and cayenne hues all sitting harmoniously together.

I am also loving the trend (and I think it is here to stay) of using natural materials like timber, linen and rattan alongside these earthy shades that really reflect the flora and fauna around us. There is nothing more grounding and calming.
|
I also think there has been a shift towards making homewares purchases that are locally-made, handcrafted or artisanal. Such finds make even the most minimalist of rooms feel truly meaningful and authentic.

Feel free to follow me on Pinterest to see what I am inspired by.
I have created a board especially dedicated to this versatile colour palette.
